A 4K LED wall is more than a bigger screen. It changes how you stage a service or event. The image is bright enough to read with the house lights up, the resolution is sharp at any seat, and you can run dynamic content that a projector simply can't pull off. If you've never produced an event around an LED wall, here's what's worth knowing.
What it replaces
- Rented projector and screen ($300–$800 per event)
- Backdrop fabric, drapes, and rigging
- A second tech volunteer dedicated to projection alignment
- Ambient-light-killing curtains or window covers
Ways to use the wall
For worship services
- Lyrics from ProPresenter, Easy Worship, or Reflect
- Sermon notes and Bible verses synced with the message
- Pre-service announcements and welcome graphics
- Calls to action (giving QR codes, event sign-ups)
- Live IMAG (camera feed) for a large room
For weddings
- Custom monogram or couple's logo as a ceremony backdrop
- Slideshow of family photos during cocktails
- Live ceremony video relay so back-row guests see the rings
- Reception toasts and dance floor visuals
For conferences and events
- Speaker slides at full resolution
- Sponsor reels and scrolling logos between sessions
- Live feeds, dashboards, or product demos
- Branded session intro and outro stings
Content tips that make a wall look great
- Design at 16:9 native, not 4:3 — black bars on an LED wall look amateur
- Keep type sizes generous; people read from 80+ feet back
- Avoid pure white full-screen backgrounds; soften to off-white or cream to keep the room comfortable
- Use dark mode for sermon graphics; the contrast pops without dazzling guests
- Test motion content on the wall before service — small flickers vanish at scale, but harsh transitions don't
Getting set up on event day
We have HDMI inputs available at FOH and at stage right, and the wall is already calibrated for the room. Bring your laptop or playback machine and your slides on a USB drive as backup. Our team can walk through the inputs and content workflow during your tour.
